Welcome to Paradies

It’s about an exciting journey through different realms of paradise and how each person perceives them. In the end, the protagonists themselves decide what paradise means to them.

The project was a mix of theater with self-produced film segments. I was responsible for a heavily bleeding head wound as well as the main protagonist’s deep laceration. The latter had to be washed several times during the scene.

Trance

It’s about an exciting journey through different realms of paradise and how each person perceives them. In the end, the protagonists themselves decide what paradise means to them.

The film Trance is about a paramedic who, due to personal problems and overwork, begins to make mistakes, culminating in a catastrophe. I was responsible for the SFX makeup and all the blood effects in this film. These included splinter wounds, head lacerations, bruises, an allergic reaction on the neck, and the character spitting up blood.

Unter dem Schleier des Todes

A serial killer in the prostitution scene, who murders clients, poses a major problem for trans prostitute Bobbi. Detective Galbraith is trying to catch the killer, and Bobbi is trying to find him herself, as she has a suspicion. I was responsible for the blood and wound effects here.

Ambivalenz

The beautiful Lilly sees herself confronted by her own demon in the mirror. This demon wants to disfigure her face in the most gruesome way possible. My task here, besides creating the cuts, was also to make the silicone bodies and the removed skin flaps, as well as to apply makeup to the dark demon.

The Nymph

When a knight arrives at a magical lake after a tournament, he meets the water spirit Ilo, and they fall in love. Ilo heals him of his wounds and ensures that the knight becomes wealthy. But with prosperity comes the decline of Ilo’s kingdom.

Besides the makeup for the water spirit Ilo, I was also responsible for the war-scarred, wounded knight and Ilo’s developing illness.

Marthas Room

When Martha discovers that her father is a male escort for wealthy women, she spirals further into pain and a life of nightlife. Meanwhile, her father desperately fights for her, determined not to lose her. In addition to the old and new cuts, realistic cutting with a razor blade was also an effect I implemented.

Dosenmutter

When Wilhelm clears out his mother’s old house to sell it, the unbelievable happens. His mother continues to live in an old coffee tin. But she doesn’t like the sale and the clearing out by the Italian real estate agent and his moving team at all.

And so she begins to murder them one by one, not even sparing her own family.

For this project, I was responsible for aging and applying makeup to Hildegart’s zombie hand, as well as the various wounds seen in the murders: mixer sticks in her face, knitting needles in her forehead, head lacerations, bruises, and murder with cake frosting.

Rabe & Wolf

When Wilhelm clears out his mother’s old house to sell it, the unbelievable happens. His mother continues to live in an old coffee tin. But she doesn’t like the sale and the clearing out by the Italian real estate agent and his moving team at all.

And so she begins to murder them one by one, not even sparing her own family.

Odin has grown weary of his work of collecting the dead. But at the same time, Ylva is observing her tribe as they make various preparations, including for the battle of the next day. But when she hears ravens, she knows that tomorrow will not end well. Her suspicions are confirmed when she sees the battlefield.

I was here to apply makeup to the actors to create the various wounds after the battle, as well as dirt and battle scars.
